Business Valuation Specialist Engagements:
As a business valuation specialist with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Darren has numerous valuation engagements for a wide variety of purposes including:
- Valuation of businesses to support sell side and buy side merger & acquisition projects
- Valuation of Intangible Assets using contemporary valuation methodologies
- Determination of market value for tax purposes to support re-structuring advice
- Preparation of pre-insolvency valuation reports to support advisors in facilitating deeds of company arrangement (DOCA)
- Preparation of valuations to support legal and matrimonial disputes including:
- Acting as jointly appointed single expert appointed for family law purposes
- Acting as a shadow expert to assist legal advisers in litigation matters
- Acting as a jointly appointed single expert appointed under the terms of a shareholder agreement
